編集者／選曲家／DJ／プロデューサー。サバービア・ファクトリー主宰。渋谷の「カフェ・アプレミディ」「アプレミディ・セレソン」店主。『Free Soul』『Mellow Beats』『Cafe Apres-midi』『Jazz Supreme』『音楽のある風景』シリーズなど、選曲を手がけたコンピCDは350枚を越え世界一。USENでは音楽放送チャンネル「usen for Cafe Apres-midi」「usen for Free Soul」を監修・制作、1990年代から日本の都市型音楽シーンに多大なる影響力を持つ。近年はメロウ・チルアウトをテーマにした『Good Mellows』シリーズが国内・海外で大好評を博している。
